Samsung has arguably the most popular range of Android tablets. The latest in the line up is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) tablet running the new Android 4.0 operating system.
This lovely tablet is the 7 inch version, which in the authors humble opinion is the best of the lot. You can rad some of my other articles to see what I think of this size tablet. Whilst this junky has a few sizes, the favourite is the 7 inch.
- It is just so handy!
- You can fit it into your pocket!
- It is the best size to use as an e-reader!
- Doubles as a not overly big cell phone!
- and much much more!
Anyway this latest tablet release from Samsung is a downgraded version of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. A brilliant little tablet in it’s own
right! and for the first time it is runningAndroid 4.0. This little Samsung Galaxy Tablet has the following features.
- 7inch screen
- 1024×600 pixels
- 1ghz dual core processor
- HSPA+ or wifi only
- front and back facing cameras
- swipe type and all the other features you get standard on Samsung mobile devices
- 1gb of ram
However the rumour is that prices will start at about $419 for the wifi only version and about $523 for the 3g version. Which quite frankly is too much for a Android 4 tablet in the current economic climate. I recently reported on the Novo7 tablet, which although not as feature rich as the Samsung, it is only $99. A quarter of the price of the Samsung Tablet. The Samsung has a great look. Has that iPad feel about it and will go a long way to satisfying the senses.
Will it be yet another winner for Samsung? My guess is yes! however I feel alot of buyers will being doing 1 of 2 things. 1) waiting for the price to drop or 2) Waiting for the Android 4.0 version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.
