Dell Latitude 10 with Windows 8 is coming.

When ever windows 8 pops up in conversation it is invariable in conjunction with the Microsoft Surface. So it is easy to lose site of the other Windows 8 tablet Pc’s that are on the horizon. One that should be hitting the stores soon is the Dell Latitude 10. This tablet promises to become the desktop PC for some users, especially those who are more frequently ditching the desktop/tablet combination for a single solution.

Of all the tablet pc’s we have reviewed or heard about this one seems to have the most potential to replace a laptop and possibly a desktop system. It is an amazing bit of kit that will run all your favorite windows software like Microsoft office and even Adobe Photoshop, in a travel anywhere design. I love the idea of this machine so much, I can imagine myself writing an article, feeling the need for a coffee walking down to the coffee shop and continuing without the keyboard. Sure the typing may be slower than when you have the external keyboard but it does offer an option to being stuck at the office. What don’t I like? the price! $1000+ that is extremely expensive in the day and age of ever cheaper tablets. However I guess it is more like a laptop with a touch screen and it does have some great hardware. Will it take off? I don’t think so. The price will stop it from getting to much sales momentum.
